High-pressure heaters are heat exchange devices that operate under high pressure (typically >1.0 MPa) and high temperature (up to 600°C) conditions. They transfer the thermal energy of high-temperature fluids (such as steam or flue gas) to low-temperature fluids (such as water or oil) through the principle of heat exchange, significantly enhancing energy utilization efficiency. Their design must meet requirements for pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, and precise temperature control, and they are widely used in the following fields:

Ⅰ.Energy and Power Industry: The "Multiplier" of Power Generation Efficiency

1. Thermal Power Plants

Working Principle: Utilizing steam extracted from the turbine to heat the boiler feedwater, raising the water temperature from 30°C to over 240°C.

Value Manifestation: For every 10°C increase in water temperature, coal consumption can be reduced by 1.5% to 2%. For instance, the high-pressure heater system of a 1000MW unit can save over 20,000 tons of standard coal annually and reduce COemissions by 50,000 tons.

2.Nuclear power plant

Used for preheating the primary loop coolant to maintain the stability of the reactor temperature and prevent thermal stress shock.

Ⅱ.Petrochemical Industry: "Key Nodes" for Process Optimization

1.Crude Oil Refining

In the atmospheric and vacuum distillation units, the high-pressure heaters heat the crude oil to above 350°C, reducing viscosity and promoting distillation, increasing the yield of light oil by 15% to 20%.

2.Chemical Reaction Engineering

High-pressure reactors are equipped with heating devices (such as hydrogenation reactors), which provide precise temperature control (±2°C error) at pressures of 20 to 30 MPa to ensure the activity of the catalyst and the reaction rate.

Ⅲ.High-end Manufacturing and Special Scenarios

1.Ship Power System

The preheating of boiler feed water for ships reduces fuel consumption by 30% and extends the lifespan of the engine.

2.New Material Synthesis

In the production of carbon fibers, a high-pressure heater maintains the pre-oxidation furnace at a stable temperature of 200-300°C to ensure consistency in fiber strength.

3.Food and Medicine Sterilization

High-pressure steam sterilizers (with working pressure ranging from 0.2 to 0.5 MPa) can completely kill spores at 134°C, replacing traditional chemical disinfection methods.
