I. Preparation Work

  1. Tool Preparation
Ensure the following tools are available: Electric screwdriver, spirit level, tape measure, marker pen, wrench, impact drill (depending on the installation environment) and matching drill bits.
  2. Material Inspection
Check whether the model of the fixed bracket matches the plate heat exchanger equipment, and inspect whether the bracket is deformed, cracked or has other defects. At the same time, confirm that the number and specifications of fasteners such as expansion bolts or self-tapping screws meet the requirements.
  3. Environmental Assessment
Confirm the material of the installation wall or floor (such as concrete, brick wall or steel structure), and select the appropriate fixing method according to the material. Ensure that the installation location is flat, not loose, and leaves enough operating space.

II. Installation Steps

  1. Positioning and Marking
    • Use the tape measure to measure and determine the installation position of the bracket to ensure it is aligned with the connection point of the plate heat exchanger equipment.
    • Use the spirit level to calibrate the levelness of the bracket to avoid inclination affecting the subsequent installation accuracy.
    • Mark the fixing hole positions of the bracket on the wall or floor with a marker pen.
  2. Drilling
    • According to the marked hole positions, select the appropriate diameter drill bit for drilling.
    • If it is concrete or brick wall, an impact drill is required; if it is a metal structure, a regular electric drill is selected.
    • The drilling depth should be slightly longer than the length of the expansion bolt to ensure a firm fixation.
  3. Installing the Bracket
    • Place the bracket at the marked position, insert the expansion bolt or self-tapping screw into the hole position.
    • Use an electric screwdriver or wrench to gradually tighten the bolts until the bracket is stable without shaking.
    • Use the spirit level to check the levelness of the bracket again, and adjust it if necessary to meet the requirements.
  4. Secondary Reinforcement
    • Perform additional reinforcement on the key stress areas, such as adding auxiliary supports in heavy-duty equipment scenarios.
    • Check whether all bolts are fully tightened to avoid potential safety hazards due to looseness.

III. Precautions

  1. Safety Protection
    • Wear protective gloves and goggles during the installation process to prevent injuries from flying debris.
    • When working at heights, fasten the safety belt and ensure that the scaffolding or ladder is stable and reliable.
  2. Precision Control
    • The installation deviation of the bracket should not exceed ±2mm, otherwise it may affect the normal operation of the plate heat exchanger equipment.
    • If the bracket does not match the interface of the equipment, it should be replaced or the bracket model should be adjusted in time.
  3. Load Verification
    • After the installation is completed, an appropriate external force can be applied to test the bearing capacity of the bracket to ensure that it can withstand the weight of the plate heat exchanger equipment and related vibrations.
  4. Environmental Adaptability
    • In a humid or corrosive environment, it is recommended to use a stainless steel or galvanized bracket and take anti-rust measures.
    • Avoid installing the bracket in an area prone to water accumulation or severe temperature changes.

IV. Acceptance Criteria

  1. The bracket is firmly installed without obvious shaking or tilting.
  2. All connection point bolts are tightened in place without omissions or looseness.
  3. There are no damages, deformations or other quality problems on the surface of the bracket.
  4. The overall installation meets the requirements of the design drawings and the installation requirements of the plate heat exchanger equipment.

By following the above steps and standard operating procedures, the safety and reliability of the installation of the fixed bracket for the plate heat exchanger can be ensured, laying a foundation for the efficient operation of the subsequent equipment.
