The functions and installation of low pressure heater

Release time:

2025-02-21

The low-pressure heater shell is the core structural component of the low-pressure heater system, and its role is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

1. Structural support and sealing: the shell, as the main frame, is connected with the water chamber through the flange to ensure the stable fixing of the internal tube bundle, partition and other components, while forming a closed space to isolate the external environment.

2. Pressure bearing capacity: The shell must withstand the design pressure of the pipe side and the shell side (for example, 4.5 MPa on the pipe side and 0.7 MPa on the shell side), and the material and welding process must meet the requirements of the hydraulic test (for example, 1.05 MPa on the shell side) to prevent media leakage.

3. Heat exchange environment protection: steam condensation section and hydrophobic cooling section are arranged inside the shell to optimize heat transfer efficiency and reduce heat loss through reasonable structural design.

During the installation process, follow the following key steps and technical points:

1. Foundation acceptance and preparation: check the foundation center line, elevation and embedded parts position to ensure that the flatness and strength meet the requirements; I-beams are used to reinforce the slipway, and lubricants are applied to the top surface to reduce drag friction.

2. Hoisting and positioning: The equipment is hoisted by bridge crane or hydraulic jack, and the equipment is hoisted by double-machine lifting or slipway traction to ensure that the equipment is smoothly inserted into the installation position (such as the throat of the condenser).

3. Pad iron configuration and alignment: each stack of pad iron does not exceed 3 pieces (special cases allow 5 pieces), only a pair of inclined pad iron, pad iron contact area should be greater than 75%, and spot welding fixed; Calibrate the equipment elevation and levelness by adjusting the pad iron.

4. Installation and sealing test of accessories: After installation of instrument measuring points, anti-impact plates and other accessories, it is necessary to conduct shell side and pipe side water pressure test to verify the tightness of welds and sealing surfaces to ensure that there is no leakage.

After the installation is complete, check the center line deviation (generally ≤3 mm) and levelness (≤2 mm/m) of the device, and perform secondary grouting maintenance to ensure that the shell is firmly combined with the foundation.
