The Third Heat Storage Conference Held -- Shandong Beichen in the "Double Carbon" Era

With the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, new energy will become the main body of power supply in the future. Energy storage technology plays an important role in increasing the proportion of renewable energy and ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power system. It is a key technology to support my country's large-scale development of new energy and ensure energy security. From June 22 to 23, the third heat storage conference held by China clean heating platform and Shandong Beichen was held in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province.

The chairman of the company, Jin Zhe, delivered a speech at the joint organizer of the congress. Jin Zong said that the development of heat storage is in the ascendant. With the development of the energy storage industry, a variety of new energy storage technologies continue to break through and achieve demonstration applications in more and more scenarios. Among them, the heat storage technology belongs to the energy storage technology, with high energy density, low cost, long service life, various utilization methods and high comprehensive heat utilization efficiency. It can play a greater role in the auxiliary service fields such as renewable energy consumption, centralized/distributed renewable electric heating and clean heating, industrial high quality cooling and heating, and power grid demand side response. At the same time, Mr. Jin put forward hopes for the future development of the heat storage industry, hoping to pool the efforts of all parties to strive for the common interests of the industry and create a better development ecology for the industry in the future.

In the keynote speech, Mr. Jin made a report on the theme of "Application Practice of Domestic Immersed High Voltage Electrode Boiler + Water Heat Storage Technology in Clean Heating Field". He introduced in detail the development and application of Shandong Beichen High/Low Voltage Electrode Boiler + Water Heat Storage, Boiler + Molten Salt Heat Storage, Waste Heat Utilization and other technologies under the new generation of power system.

Shandong Beichen's booth also welcomed many partners and customers in the heat storage industry. The company's participating members actively communicated with industry organizations, scientific research institutes, brother units, etc. that came to consult, from technology to market, and then to industry policies. The application value and development path of electrode boiler + water heat storage technology and molten salt heat storage technology in the clean heating market were discussed in depth. At this conference, Shandong Beichen won the "2021 China Thermal Storage Industry Annual Award-Thermal Storage Technology Innovation Award".

Co-hosting this heat storage conference is not only an active exploration of Shandong Beichen to implement the "double carbon" goal, but also reflects Shandong Beichen's social responsibility and responsibility in promoting green development. Shandong Beichen will work together to promote the three goals of energy "safety, economy and clean and low carbon", realize the efficient use of domestic electrode boilers, and contribute to Beichen's strength to realize the new blueprint for heat storage under the vision of double carbon.
